The Bigwood Drums Story
Bigwood Drums was founded over 30 years ago when Mike crafted his very first custom snare from Indian rosewood. Since then, he’s been commissioned by many prominent drummers and percussionists who value his attention to detail and musical understanding.
Mike takes pride in sourcing interesting and unique materials – from rosewood and ancient bog oak, to re‑purposed, much‑loved old cymbals – creating snares that are as individual as your playing style.
More recently, Bigwood Drums has expanded to include drum maintenance, storage and delivery - supporting players at every stage of their musical journey.
